Latest Updates from Our Project:

The shipment is starting
over 4 years ago – Tue, Nov 05, 2019 at 12:48:32 PM

Dear Backer,

we are pleased that we will receive today the reprint of the Design Manual in our warehouse in Germany. We had some advance copies already at the bookfair in Frankfurt and we can proudly say that the result is really good.

This means that we start to ship still this week, so that next week everybody in Central Europe should get the packages, for destinations at the fringes of Europe it will take about one more week, for Asia and Latin America most likely a bit longer. The copies for everybody in the United States and Canada are right now on the Atlantic on the way to our warehouse in Tennessee where the books will arrive in the second half of the month. This way we could keep the shipping costs for all backers in North America really low which we thought would be appreciated.

Please accept our apologies for the delay. The most important thing was to maintain the high standards of Otl Aicher and his team, which manifest themselves in these wonderful design guidelines.

Yours

Team Niggli

Dear backer,

You've been waiting a long time, but we are happy to inform you that now the quality of the ring binder that includes Otl Aicher’s great design guidelines is as perfect as desired.

Since we place the highest demands on our publications, we have also given priority to quality in this case and had to wait for an accurate ring binder. Our apologies for the delay!

Last week at the world's largest book fair, which took place in Frankfurt, Germany, we were finally able to show the first copies of the Munich '72 reprint. They have been highly acclaimed!

Your copy will be send at the end of the month.

Thank you very much for your patience and trust!

Waiting for the ring binder
over 4 years ago – Wed, Sep 18, 2019 at 10:32:56 PM

Dear backer,

the sheets are printed, but still waiting for the ring binder. Publisher Markus Sebastian Braun visited today the printing house DZA Druck in Germany in order to check himself when the reprint of the Munich'72 design manual will be ready to be delivered.

The good news is that the sheets that have been printed look great! As we wanted the ring binder to look as the original one there have been more issues to resolve than expected. Though the other good news is that it finally is going to meet our expectations, too! We are hoping that now it is not taking longer than 2 to 3 weeks to deliver.

We appreciate your comprehension!

Delivery comes closer!
over 4 years ago – Sat, Aug 03, 2019 at 02:16:24 AM

Dear Backer,

we kindly ask for your understanding that the delivery has been delayed and will take place between early and mid September.

As Kickstarter newcomers, we were probably very optimistic about the follow-up of our campaign. We needed to collect all the names that will appear in the book! Thus, we had to wait for all payments, to solve some related issues and receive the final delivery details from everyone. This week we finally could list all the names of backers or those of their friends, colleagues or relatives who should appear in the manual.

All the best,

Team Niggli
